Illustrated boards (depicting a cub & a brownie with a skipping rope) is grubby with bumped corners, heavily rubbed; cloth illustrated spine is worn. Book is weak in binding, one colour plate missing; name on back of frontispiece, more than one page (which are on very thick paper) has remains & marks of pressed leaf. No date but 1920s? - the girls on the title page appear to have hats which were in use until 1936. A pretty scruffy copy, 132pp, illustrated with colour plates & 'black & tint' illustrations. 255x190mm. 860g.
